Disney Room - 3 to 4 years old

The Disney Room is for children who are 3 by Sept 1 and fully potty trained.
This classroom follows a daily schedule and routine that enables the children to develop awareness for learning and builds the structure needed for further education. This is beginning stages of learning. The children are in a more structured environment with constant feedback from the teachers.

The Disney room develops and implements a curriculum that allows for continual hands on learning experiences. Circle time begins the day with review of the alphabet and sound, numbers and weekly lessons. The children enjoy new songs and games to make learning fun. Radcliffe Learning Center incorporates everyday math.

Fine gross motor skills are touched every day while children are rotating on their won in centers. The teacher will teach the skill for the week in the classroom following the children as they play. They do not even know they are learning. We make focus on fun so the children are not overwhelmed. The teachers work one-on-one and in small groups. Our curriculum teaches the "whole child" because there are so many ways a child can learn.

The children are introduced to computers and they will be able to use it completely on their own by half of the year. Each subject matter will be reintroduced by the games on the computer. The children will also be able to use the internet to ecplore other avenues of learning.
